Blockchain presents a promising technology with its decentralization, transparency, and robust encryption capabilities to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. This research aims to explore blockchain's role in enhancing the security and privacy of digital transactions and identify implementation challenges.</p> <p>The research method used a qualitative approach with case studies on five blockchain-based e-commerce platforms and involved 100 active users. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. The results showed that more than 80% of respondents felt blockchain provided a higher level of security than traditional systems, while 70% of users reported an increased sense of security in data privacy. Blockchain has been proven to reduce the risk of transaction fraud and information leakage by giving users full control over their personal data.</p> <p>However, this research also revealed barriers, particularly related to scalability, cost, and transaction speed. Identified solutions include utilizing more efficient consensus mechanisms such as proof-of-stake and implementing layer-two technologies like the Lightning Network. The findings demonstrate blockchain's transformative potential in creating trustless digital transaction environments while highlighting the necessity for technological advancement in consensus algorithms and network infrastructure. This study contributes theoretical insights into blockchain's privacy-preserving mechanisms and provides practical frameworks for organizations considering blockchain adoption in their digital transaction systems. AR can provide a more interactive and immersive virtual shopping experience, allowing consumers to visualize products in a real-world context before making a purchase. This study aims to explore the impact of AR implementation on the online shopping experience and analyze the factors influencing consumer adoption of this technology.</p> <p>The research method used a qualitative approach with case studies on five e-commerce platforms that have integrated AR. This involved interviews with developers, direct observation, and questionnaires with 100 active users. The results showed that 78% of users felt more confident in making purchasing decisions after using AR features, and 72% of users reported increased interest in purchasing products. Furthermore, AR has been shown to reduce consumer uncertainty, increase sales conversion rates, and reduce product returns.</p> <p>However, AR implementation still faces obstacles, such as hardware limitations, visual quality on older devices, and network speeds that impact application performance. Technological innovations such as cloud-based AR and data compression have proven to be potential solutions to overcome these obstacles. The main objectives of this research are to explore the challenges in designing inclusive digital platforms, identify the latest technological innovations that can support accessibility, and highlight the role of users in the development process.</p> <p class="whitespace-normal" style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt;">The research method used a qualitative approach with purposive sampling technique involving case studies of various digital platforms attempting to implement accessibility standards. Data was collected through interviews with web developers, users with disabilities, and direct observation of the applications. To ensure data trustworthiness, triangulation and member checking were employed. Furthermore, the active involvement of users with disabilities in the design process can provide significant input into inclusive solutions. Positive impacts are also evident in the digital industry, where accessibility implementations improve user satisfaction and expand the consumer base. With the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, e-commerce websites are now able to offer more relevant, efficient, and engaging experiences to users. AI enables a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and preferences, which can translate into precise product recommendations, faster searches, and intuitive shopping experiences. This research addresses a significant gap in the literature by providing a comprehensive framework for AI implementation in Southeast Asian e-commerce contexts, particularly focusing on the balance between personalization benefits and privacy concerns that have been underexplored in previous studies.</p> <p class="whitespace-normal" style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt;">This research used a qualitative approach with case studies on several leading e-commerce platforms. Data was collected through interviews with managers and developers, questionnaires with 200 active users, and direct observation of user interactions with AI-based personalization features. The results showed that 75% of users reported greater satisfaction with relevant product recommendations, 65% were more likely to make a purchase after receiving a recommendation, and 70% reported faster product searches. The study's novel contribution lies in its integrated methodology that combines user experience metrics with privacy concern analysis, offering both theoretical insights into consumer behavior in AI-mediated environments and practical implications for e-commerce platform development in emerging markets.</p> <p class="whitespace-normal" style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;">However, this study also identified key challenges in AI implementation, particularly related to user privacy and data protection. Concerns about the use of personal data can impact consumer trust in platforms. Therefore, the success of AI implementation in e-commerce depends not only on the accuracy of the algorithms but also on the transparency of data policies and the assurance of personal information security.</p> <p class="whitespace-normal" style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;">This study concludes that AI-based personalization has significant potential to improve user satisfaction and drive purchasing decisions. Despite significant advances in 5G deployment globally, there remains a substantial research gap in understanding how this technology specifically enhances intelligent web applications across different sectors. Integrating 5G with intelligent web applications opens up new opportunities in the e-commerce, education, and healthcare sectors by improving connectivity and operational efficiency. This research addresses the limited comprehensive insights into 5G-intelligent web application integration, offering a novel perspective by examining the synergistic effects of these two emerging technologies rather than focusing solely on IoT or communication applications as in previous studies. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method on five intelligent web applications that have implemented 5G. Data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires with 100 users, and direct observation. The results showed that 85% of respondents felt a significant improvement in access speed and responsiveness of 5G-based applications compared to 4G, while 75% considered 5G's low latency to provide a more satisfying experience, particularly in telemedicine and digital transactions. The main challenges identified were the compatibility of legacy devices and high infrastructure costs. However, long-term opportunities include the development of AR/VR-based applications, improving the quality of remote healthcare services, and accelerating digital transformation in strategic industries. From a theoretical perspective, this research contributes to the understanding of technology convergence in digital connectivity, while practically it provides actionable insights for developers and policymakers seeking to leverage 5G capabilities in web-based applications.
