This article aims to explore the application of blockchain in web security, focusing on its effectiveness, challenges, and opportunities. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, the study collected data from in-depth interviews, open-ended questionnaires, as well as secondary documentation from organizations that have implemented blockchain. The results show that blockchain can strengthen data security through decentralized consensus and manipulation-resistant encryption techniques, which are crucial in preventing unauthorized access and data fraud. However, there are challenges in maintaining user privacy due to the transparent nature of the blockchain which allows public access to transactions. The use of advanced encryption technologies such as Zero-Knowledge Proof and Homomorphic Encryption is recommended to optimize user privacy. The implementation of blockchain in the financial and healthcare sectors shows a positive impact in maintaining data integrity and reducing the risk of breaches. The study concludes that blockchain has great potential to be widely applied as a digital data security base, but further development is needed in encryption technology to ensure more comprehensive protection of user privacy. These findings are expected to be the foundation for the development of more effective blockchain-based data security policies in the future
2024-12-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Web Innovation and Technologies https://journaljwit.com/index.php/Jwit/article/view/2 Assessing the Impact of SEO Innovations on Web Traffic and User Retention Rates 2024-12-09T07:14:20+00:00 Aldo Faisal Umam aldofaisalumam86@gmail.com
This study evaluates the impact of artificial intelligence (AI)-based SEO innovations on increasing web traffic and user retention on e-commerce sites in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, the study collected data from 50 e-commerce websites that implemented AI-based SEO strategies over a one-year period. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in web traffic metrics, which was an average increase of 40%, as well as longer session durations of up to 20% and a 15% decrease in bounce rate after the implementation of SEO innovation. The study also found that AI-based optimization, which includes keyword analysis and content adaptation to user behavior, is able to improve the quality of traffic and user engagement, making these innovations effective for attracting more relevant users and increasing the frequency of return visits. However, this study identifies a gap in research related to the long-term effects of SEO innovation on consistent user experience. The resulting recommendations underscore the importance of continuous content updates as well as the use of data analytics to maintain user interest. These findings contribute to digital marketing practitioners in designing SEO strategies that focus on improving user retention, as well as offering insights for further research on SEO optimization based on cutting-edge technology
2024-12-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Web Innovation and Technologies https://journaljwit.com/index.php/Jwit/article/view/5 Addressing Data Privacy Challenges in E-commerce with End-to-End Encryption on Web Platforms in ASEAN 2024-12-09T07:36:57+00:00 Nur Muhamad Safii nurmuhamamdsafii27@gmail.com
The security of user data in e-commerce platforms in ASEAN has become a crucial issue in the midst of the rapid development of the digital economy. The study aims to identify data privacy challenges and analyze the effectiveness of end-to-end encryption (E2EE) as a solution to improve user data protection. Descriptive quantitative research methods are used by collecting data from various e-commerce platforms and users in ASEAN countries. The results show that E2EE implementation has been shown to reduce the incidence of data breaches by up to 60% in the last five years, with a significant increase in user trust levels in platforms implementing E2EE. However, the implementation of E2EE in the ASEAN region still faces obstacles, such as differences in regulations between countries and limited infrastructure, which lead to gaps in the adoption of this technology in the region. Therefore, consistent regional policy harmonization and the provision of incentives for the implementation of E2EE on e-commerce platforms are urgently needed. The findings of this study make an important contribution to the development of data privacy policies and raise awareness of the importance of encryption technology in protecting user data in the e-commerce sector. This recommendation is expected to support the development of a safe and reliable digital economy in ASEAN
2024-12-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Web Innovation and Technologies https://journaljwit.com/index.php/Jwit/article/view/3 The Role of Web Innovation in Smart City Development in Indonesia: Opportunities and Challenges in the Era of Infrastructure Digitalization 2024-12-09T07:19:54+00:00 Amelia melameliaaa99@gmail.com
The development of smart cities in Indonesia is increasingly important in facing the challenges of urbanization and the need for more efficient public services. Web innovation is one of the main drivers in realizing smart cities, especially in accelerating the accessibility of public services, increasing community involvement, and strengthening urban economic resilience. This study aims to analyze the role of web innovation in improving the efficiency of public services, data security, and community participation in major cities in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach in several cities, such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Yogyakarta. Data is obtained through surveys, interviews with stakeholders, and documentation from government reports and related institutions. The results of the study show that web innovation has succeeded in reducing service time by up to 50% in some cities, increasing community involvement in delivering input, and opening access for small and medium-sized businesses to develop digitally. However, challenges remain, especially related to data security and infrastructure limitations in the suburbs. This research emphasizes the importance of policy support and more equitable infrastructure development to maximize the potential of smart cities based on web innovation in Indonesia. This finding is expected to be the foundation for the government in optimizing smart city planning and implementation in the era of digitalization
2024-12-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Web Innovation and Technologies https://journaljwit.com/index.php/Jwit/article/view/1 The Effect of Artificial Intelligence-Based Chatbots on Customer Satisfaction on E-commerce Platforms 2024-12-09T07:09:32+00:00 Ade Bani Riyan adebaniriyan@gmail.com
This study explores risks and mitigation strategies in data storage systems The use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbots is increasing in e-commerce platforms to improve customer satisfaction. This study aims to identify the influence of AI-based chatbots on customer satisfaction on one of the major e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. With a quantitative approach and a correlational descriptive design, data was collected through an online survey of 300 respondents who actively interacted with the chatbot on the e-commerce platform. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale was used to measure respondents' perception of chatbot service satisfaction. The results of linear regression analysis show that AI-based chatbots have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a regression coefficient value of 0.65 at a significance level of 5%. Chatbots that are able to respond quickly, provide accurate information, and interact intuitively have been proven to improve a positive customer experience. These findings show that AI-based chatbots can be an important component of e-commerce customer service strategies to create customer loyalty and strengthen brand value. However, this study has limitations in terms of the scope of the e-commerce platforms studied and the survey method that relies solely on customer perception. Recommendations for further research are to expand the scope of the sample on various e-commerce platforms as well as apply more comprehensive methods, such as hands-on experiments
2024-12-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Web Innovation and Technologies
